Role: Hukum of Rajasthan | CEO of Rathore Industries. The reigning authority of the family. Controlled, disciplined, and feared. Holds political and underworld connections. The pillar of legacy—and the man who forces Sanskriti into his universe.

2.Kesar Singh Rathore

Age: 8

Role: Lion | Shadow | Guardian Raised by Adirath. Fiercely loyal. Symbol of power and instinct. A beast to the world, a shield to his family.

3.Aarivendra Singh Shekhawat

Age: 29

Role: Best Friend of Adirath. CEO of Shekhawat Technologies — one of India’s most influential and rapidly growing tech conglomerates. Aarivendra rules through intelligence and systems.

4.Rajmata Devyani Rathore (Mother)

Role: Emotional spine of the palace

Soft-spoken, dignified, deeply loving toward her sons. Survivor of something unforgivable at her husband’s hands. The only person Adirath is openly gentle with. She sees safety in Sanskriti from the beginning. She is not like typical mother-in-law, considers Sanskriti as her own daughter.

5.Mahaveer Singh Rathore (Father)

Role: Patriarch | Political mind | Former King

Cold, power-driven, egoistic. Sees family as legacy tools. No longer king because of his deeds. Emotionally abusive in the past. Hated by Adirath. Represents entitlement and dominance without conscience. Does not lives in palace anymore.

6.Rajmata Indira Devi Rathore (Grandmother / Dadi)

Role: Keeper of tradition

Obsessed with dynasty and legacy. Believes kings must bleed privately. Respects Adirath as a ruler. Initially sees Sanskriti as fragile—later realizes she anchors him.

7.Abhimanyu Singh Rathore (Younger Brother)

Age: 25

Role: Emotional light of the palace. He is a famous celebrity, an actor and director. Warm, funny, kind-hearted. Loves Sanskriti as a sister and sister-in-law too. Respects Adirath, fears the one kept in secret. Provides balance to the heavy atmosphere.

8.Meher Rathore (Cousin Sister)

Age: 20

Role: Bridge character, Daughter of Harshvardhan and Nandini Fearless, affectionate, observant. First friend Sanskriti finds inside the palace. Sees Adirath as protector, not tyrant.

9.Harshvardhan Singh Rathore (Chacha)

Role: Neutral diplomat, MD of Rathore Industries Calm, politically aware. Avoids conflict but quietly supports Sanskriti.

10.Nandini Rathore (Chachi)

Role: Traditional homemaker. Soft, observant, emotionally kind. Keeps distance from palace tension.

11.Kamakshi Devi (Bua)

Role: Instigator, Kalesi. Jealous, sharp-tongued, resentful of Adirath’s authority. Readers will surely hate her.

12.Raghunath Chauhan (Fufa)

Role: Passive presence, CEO of Chauhan Group of Industries. Submissive, avoids confrontation.

13.Yashvardhan Chauhan

Age: 23

Role: Entitled threat. Son of Kamakshi and Raghunath. Just started working in the Chauhan Group of Industries as Managing Director. Disrespectful toward Sanskriti. Corrected permanently by Adirath and Abhimanyu.

The Sharma Family:

1.Sanskriti Sharma

Age: 20

Role: College Student.

Blamed for her mother’s death. Raised without affection. Soft, resilient, kind. Forced into royal marriage.

2.Mahendra Sharma (Father)

Role: Government clerk.

Source of emotional trauma of Sanskriti. Cold, resentful, emotionally neglectful. Blames Sanskriti for his wife’s death. Hides darker truths about the past.

3.Rohan Sharma (Elder Brother)

Age: 25

Role: Protector

Works at Rathore Industries (Dehradun branch). Pays for Sanskriti’s college. Loves her fiercely. Stays in the city to shield her from family abuse.

4.Sharda Devi (Nani)

Role: First safe love

Raised Sanskriti after her mother’s death. Fought for her education. Died when Sanskriti was 15—leaving her unprotected.

5.Suresh Sharma (Chacha)

Role: Runs a grocery wholesale business. Resentful, cruel, done physical abuse towards Sanskriti.

6.Kamla Sharma (Chachi)

Role: Emotional tormentor. Housewife. Taunts Sanskriti.

7.Amit Sharma (Cousin)

Age: 22

Role: Predator, Son of Suresh and Kamla. MBA student. Attempted to force himself on Sanskriti multiple times. Source of her fear of men.

NOTE: Many other characters will be introduced later on in the novel. The main antagonist is not yet introduced here, because there should be some suspense.
